All that's mine is mine alone...
As the sun rose over the horizon, the darkened sky turned grey with the new light. Birds were chirping from the treetops somewhere nearby, What a bother... A mouse skittered around in the shadows looking for food. Then it suddenly sensed something wrong and ran off to its hole. Sigh. I guess I'll have to actually look for a meal, then. With a yawn and a stretch, the massive sleeping wolf stood up and shook off a bit. It had rained the past night, so he'd come into the old shelter to keep dry. He found a puddle and lapped up some water. Lifting his head and taking a long look around, he noticed another rodent lurking around; a rat by the smell of it. The great figure turned and prowled foreward. Taking a fierce leap, he landed on the unsupecting mammal. He silenced it with a quick bite to the neck. It wasn't very large, though he couldn't keep from salivating at the scent of its blood. Sepulcher sat down and started to devour it.
